Description
of the products
It is made
up of two layers, Outer of water-repellent cotton canvas in Natural color with
lining of plain cotton sheeting. Complete with all accessories (Bamboo Poles,
Ropes, Pegs, Wooden Pole tops, Hammer).
Roof: The
tent stands on two standing bamboo poles without the ridgepole. It gives the
authenticated medieval bow shape to the roof. The tent is covered with
Water-repellent (1) cotton canvas with inner cotton lining. To give our tents
the real medieval look, every tent is hand quilted and all the cotton ropes
used in the tent are hand twisted.
Walls: The tent has slanted and easily detachable walls. It gives more useable
floor space..
(1) The Canvas is water repellent, and can withstand light rains.
But care should be taken that water pockets don't develop in the roof.
Because if water pockets develop, then water will seep through stitch holes,
and soil the inner lining. The Tent roof should be pitched tightly, so that the
rain water slides down, as soon as it falls on the roof.
In case of heavy rains, the Tent should be taken down. Never pack a wet
Tent, let it dry first, then pack it back.

Shipping Two possibilities (1) Ship It is not door to door: you have to fetch the good on the closest harbor to your town. Transport costs are around 200 euros for Europe and 250
euros for You will have to pay more: VAT and customs tax , local fees in the collecting of the tent ( packing/unpacking, ..) In our experience ( a 6*9m delivered in (2) Air What we have understood is that IT IS BETTER TO SEND THE GOOD BY PLANE. - it is as much expensive than ship: for sure transport fees are higher but it is door to door and you escape from a lot of fees ( petrol for you car, local harbor fees and perhaps VAT and customs duties ) - quicker ( 4-5 days and not 1.5 month) - practical ( door to door, no need to visit 1000 different people to the port ! ). Here are some ideas of costs.
Tips (1) Our tents are low costs, which does not means that
they are bad quality ! Products from (2) Yes the shipping often equals the tent price. But do not regret that tent price is low ! We can give you a 2100 euros tent price ( for that please see our competitor website ) and for sure, shipping 700 euros will be 33% of tent price ! |
